The Dervish with Wings
The Dervish with Wings is a small collection of Elif Sezen’s recent and older poems that speculates upon possibilities of transcendence in contemporary lives. The shape-shifting that is a characteristic of her poetry invites a language that is part philosophical and part surreal, and here it explores themes such as displacement and reintegration of human experience.
